AEMC PowerPad model 3945 power analyser
The AEMC PowerPad model 3945 power analyser from Obiat is a one-, two- or three-phase instrument with a large LCD colour display.
The front panel function buttons enable the user to display volts, amps, THD, crest factor as well as harmonics out to the 50th for volts, amps and VA.
It will capture alarm events to 62.5 µs and capture and display up to 4096 alarm events.
It displays watts, VARS and VA by phase and total plus it accumulates totals to see whether energy is inductive or capacitive.
Current probes auto configure the instrument's current channels for range and scale.
There is a wide selection of colour-coded current clamps available with ranges from 5 mA to 6500 A.
The instrument comes with an online help system and is supplied with all leads and accessories to capture, display, download, analyse and store data. Add-on accessories are not required.
The DataView software package supplied lets the user configure and capture data in real time on a computer. Stored data can be downloaded and reports generated from a library of predesigned or user-customised templates.
