Qioptic UV LINOS F-Theta Ronar Lenses for 340–360 nm laser applications

Qioptic, an Excelitas Technologies company, has introduced its telecentric UV LINOS F-Theta-Ronar Lenses for 340–360 nm in the laser material processing industries.

The 70 mm lenses are suitable for micromachining in the semiconductor, electronic and display markets for ultraviolet-pulsed laser applications. They include a scan field (28 x 28 mm2) with a 5 µm spot size.

The lenses include an angle-corrected coating for stable transmission over the entire scan field and for a stable focus position and process. This angle-optimised broadband coating works to enable the use of various laser sources with different wavelengths and lower absorption.

The telecentric lenses feature a special optical design and advanced technology for minimised spot size variation, as well as fused silica to deliver high transmission and reduced thermal focus shift. Focal lengths range from 70 to 255 mm, with a tolerance of ±1%, and the lenses can be used with enlarged beam diameters and different mirror distances.
