Network Technologies SPLITMUX-VWC-4HDLC HD multiformat video wall controller
The Network Technologies SPLITMUX-VWC-4HDLC multiformat HD video wall controller allows users to display the video from one HDMI, VGA or composite video source across four 1080p HDMI monitors.
Two processors can be cascaded to create a video wall with up to nine screens. Additionally, it can be used as a video splitter, video converter and video switch.
The product supports video wall configurations with displays in landscape or portrait orientations. Display combinations for landscape (horizontal) orientation include 1 x 2, 1 x 3, 1 x 4, 2 x 1, 3 x 1, 4 x 1, 2 x 2, while portrait (vertical) orientations include 1 x 2, 1 x 3 and 1 x 4.
With two processors cascaded, 2 x 3, 3 x 2, 2 x 4, 4 x 2 and 3 x 3 screen combinations are also possible.
The product includes a versatile bezel compensation feature that allows the video wall processor to accommodate any screen frame width for accurate display of the image.
Independent video in to video out resolution allows the controller to accept HDMI digital inputs up to HDTV 1080p while the composite video (RCA) input provides support for PAL, NTSC and SECAM formats. An integrated USB media player allows content from a portable USB drive to be directly displayed on the video wall. The built-in decoder supports MPEG, H.264 and RM/RMVB movies, JPEG, BMP and PNG images as well as MPEG1/2, MP3 audio.
The video wall processor can be controlled through Ethernet, via the RS232 serial port or by using an IR remote controller.
The product provides fluid, real-time video performance with 60 fps.
