Omnitronics has produced an application package to allow engineers to design their own telemetry programs using Argus hardware.
Using the AADK, (Argus application development kit), they can write their own applications, whether they involve simple I/O, or more complicated PLC-like control, and integrate them into RTU software.
Programming is carried out using the standard C-language, however only a basic understanding is required since there are many functions and macros provided to make coding easier.
The AADK package comprises a C-language compiler with HC-16 CPU linker, Omnitronics library module, soft logic functions that mimic ladder-logic, sample application files and a user guide which describes interfacing to the telemetry kernel.
