The A1030-A is a high performance GPS receiver, and a microprocessor module. It offers high sensitivity TTFF values at ultra-low power consumption for a wide range of standard GPS applications.

An accurate one pulse per second (1PPS) signal synchronized to Universal Time (UTC) supports timing and synchronization tasks. Processing WAAS/EGNOS signals allows for very accurate positioning. Dead Reckoning is an integral part for interpolating positions with limited or no view of the sky. The microprocessor has external Flash and SRAM to allow communication links such as HDLC, SPI or I2C, It supports CAN and USB, as well as SmartCard interface. In combination with a professional tool set, the A1030-A opens a complete new world of applications especially in the automotive area.
