Cybertec 2150 and 2250 3G routers

The Cybertec 2150 and 2250 3G routers feature a faster processor, additional memory and quad band modules as well as additional functionality in the new firmware.

The 2150 and 2250 are direct replacements for the former Cybertec 2100 and 2220 models. Suitable for a wide range of M2M applications, the Cybertec range of routers utilises the coverage and flexibility of 3G, ADSL or satellite to provide a flexible and reliable communications platform for interfacing with both serial- and ethernet-enabled devices.

The Cybertec 2150 incorporates an integrated 2-port ethernet switch and serial RS232 interface, and can provide secure remote cellular connectivity to a multitude of ethernet- and serial-based devices. Sophisticated features such as smart multilevel watchdog technology ensure long-term operational stability while comprehensive remote management and diagnostic tools provide enhanced maintainability over the cellular network.

The Cybertec 2250 extends the connectivity capabilities of the 2150 by incorporating an additional two serial ports and four integrated digital I/O.  The inclusion of multiple serial ports allows concurrent transmission of different serial data streams across the cellular network. For instance, the 2250 can provide simultaneous connections for both polled SCADA data from the communications port and diagnostic data from the configuration port of the same device. This way remote maintenance and management of the device can be performed without a technician having to visit the site. The integrated digital I/O provides alarm/event triggering and interlocking capabilities as well as the ability to set/reset remote devices over the cellular network.
