The Opengear ACM5504-5-L-I deploys alongside distributed IT, network and power infrastructure, providing secure remote access over the 4G LTE cellular network with fall back to Telstra 850 MHz (3G). The built-in 4G LTE standard ensures high-speed, low-latency out-of-band network performance.
The product offers proactive monitoring and smart automated response capabilities, enabling complete and uninterrupted remote management for central operations staff. This results in reduced need for expensive on-site technical visits, improving operational efficiency and minimising mean-time-to-repair.
The gateway provides LTE connectivity, four serial console ports, five ethernet ports, digital I/O, extended temperature range (74°C), environmental sensors, local 4 GB storage and optional WLAN. It is suitable for environmental monitoring, power management and monitoring, and remote site storage of offline logs and running configuration files.
Service providers are claimed to deliver remote infrastructure management (RIM) services better, faster and more cost-effectively by using Opengear Remote Infrastructure Management Gateway from anywhere in the world.
