Traditional transceivers can only receive and dispatch a signal, which also requires an external isolation chip/optocoupler and DC/DC isolation power supply to give the required isolation. Mornsun’s integrated isolated CAN/RS485/RS232 transceiver module is a combination of transceiver chip, isolation chip, optocoupler and isolated power supply.

The product is widely used in motor drivers, railway systems, control systems, smart meters etc. It is suitable to replace traditional optocoupler designs and simplify the user’s design.

Compared to optocoupler-based designs, the modules feature: smaller size, lower power consumption and higher port protection; signal isolation; long-term stability design; higher port protective capability; completed reliability testing; completed EMC protection circuit recommendation.
