The GX400 is a compact, rugged IP64 3G/NextG gateway with GPS providing high-value versatility for any location-aware application.

It supports multiple interfaces including ethernet, RS232 serial, USB and one digital I/O port. The expansion slot allows the easy of additional I/O and communications ports with a Wi-Fi card due out in Q2.

The programmable device offers 3G/NextG mobile broadband connectivity and device management and configuration. Designed for use in mobile environments such as AVL/tracking, field service and public safety, it is also suitable for fixed/portable settings including industry, utilities, security, enterprise and point-of-sale.

The ARM11 class microprocessor and the addition of an expansion slot in the GX400 allow room for growth via support for additional connection or communication options and future technologies.

The device is powered by ALEOS embedded intelligence and managed by the AirLink Management Services. It is a ‘one device fits all’ that allows users to deploy and manage the same device for multiple applications.
