Single DVI Connector

Supporting both integrated digital/analogue signal and digital signal only connections, a digital visual interface (DVI) connector system from FCI provides a solution for high-resolution video applications.

Ensuring no transmission loss of image data between host and display devices, the connector series supports one or two digital channels to the TMDS standard, and is compliant with the DVI 1.0 specification of the Digital Display Working Group.

This range comprises two main variants; the 24-pin DVI-D for digital signal only use and the 29-pin DVI-I for combined digital/analogue signal configurations.

Both offer right angle and vertical PCB mounted sockets and cable plugs. In addition, the DVI-D plug can also be specified as 18- or 24-pin for single or dual digital link signalling.

With its single piece steel shell construction and integral PCB locking hooks, the connector socket is easily grounded to offer a high level of protection against EMI and RFI. At the same time, recessed pin tips offer added protection against electrostatic discharge.
