Schaffner RN lighting chokes series
The Schaffner RN series of current compensated chokes is suitable for lighting ballasts and power supplies for a wide range of lighting applications including LEDs, low pressure and high pressure discharge lamps.
The chokes meet EN 55015, which limits conducted emission to values of about 60 dBµV. The devices are also suitable for suppressing radiated interference.
The chokes can be incorporated in mains filter designs, if the supply or ballast does not readily meet emission standards.
