Rugged managed ethernet switch

GarrettCom's outdoor rated ruggedized Ethernet switch is now available with industry standard SNMP management. The Magnum mP62, can now be remotely interogated for monitoring of all switch functions, data throughput as well as controlling who has access to the network. This is achieved via dedicated IT Management software or with 3rd Party software that allows network data to be viewed on any of the popular control industry HMI's such as Citect.

Use of managed switches is increasingly important for mission critical, high availability networks where redundant path topologies have been employed. The mP62's impressive list of feautures also includes continuous -40 to + 75 Deg C operation, provides 2 x Multimode or Singlemode Fibre and 6 x Copper 100Mb Ports. The Unit is available in a wide range of operating voltages, including an optional external high voltage AC or DC power supply (Model PSX) unit with the same environmental ratings allowing for installation in locations where low voltage DC power is not available.
