Process calibrators

Eurotron has released its latest range of Microcal 20 DPC multi-function process calibrators that have two channels allowing simultaneous measurement and simulation of process signals including voltage, current, thermocouple, RTD, ohms, frequency, pulse generation, pressure and built-in 24 VDC loop supply.

Hart protocol is available as an option on all units. The most popular Hart transmitters are supported as standard and others can be downloaded to flash memory firmware.

There is a large graphic backlit display and the DPC can be used as a data logger with trend display and a real-time clock with facility for entering tag and field calibration procedures as found and as left.

A terminal system which is suitable for banana plugs, mini thermocouple plugs and push and lock for wires are the connectors.

There are four different models. The MAV has two simultaneous mV, V, mA and frequency channels (In+Out) and pressure (with external sensors up to 700 bar).

The Basic has all the functions of the MAV with the addition of thermocouple and RTD In+Out.

The Plus offers all the other features but has slightly better accuracy and with one or two internal pressure sensors selectable from seven ranges up to 20 bar.

The XP has the addition of ±0.006% accuracy and channels can be used as In/Out or 2 x In.
