Networked Control

Engineers now can use National Instruments LabVIEW embedded on compact industrial measurement I/O nodes to build real-time distributed monitoring and control systems.

Using these nodes, powered by the FieldPoint 2000 family of network modules, engineers can create reliable, standalone measurement and control solutions.

With the powerful and easy to use LabVIEW graphical programming, users can create customised applications that they can download to a real-time operating system running on a dedicated processor in the FieldPoint 2000 family of modules.

Systems based on the FieldPoint 2000 Family are easy to develop, deploy, and maintain because of software configurability and modular, networked hardware.

Each intelligent node can act as an independent component in a networked system and still communicate with a host Windows computer.

Engineers can also integrate the modules into existing systems via ethernet, and connect to or communicate with RS-232 serial devices.
