Linear Thermistors

A series of linear positive temperature co-efficient thermistors offering an approximate 25% improvement in accuracy has been announced.

Offered in three internationally recognised surface mount case sizes, the new TFPT thermistors are claimed to be the first devices of their kind to provide a temperature co-efficient of resistance of up to 5000 ppm.

The series provides accurate and stable performance for temperature compensation, control, and measurement in printers, mobile phones, pagers, computers, and other information appliances.

Its improved tracking accuracy reduces circuit drift in end products, especially at the extremes of operating temperature ranges, allowing designers to obtain precise performance with fewer components.

Linear TCR performance further simplifies circuit designs.

TFPT thermistors are offered in 0603, 0805 and 1206 surface mount cases. Resistance values range from 100 ohm to 1 kohm for the TFPT0603, to 5 kohm for the TFPT0805, and to 10 kohm for the TFPT1206.
