Targus has introduced a range of computer mice based on laser technology. Claimed to provide 20 times more tracking sensitivity than conventional LED devices, the four devices in the range are claimed to deliver enhanced accuracy and improved performance on difficult surfaces.

Using the same laser engine, but designed for slightly different applications, the four models include both cabled and wireless mice for both desktop and notebook use.

Similar in operation but not cordless, the AMU14US has a full-size ergonomic design for extended use. The same pre-programmable keys are provided along with the scroll up and down and navigation functions.

For the mobile user looking for a wireless mouse, the rechargeable AMW15US has laser accuracy and tracking sensitivity.

Connecting through a USB port, the AMU18US keeps desktop cords to a minimum with a retractable cable; the mouse connection cord can be infinitely adjusted with a simple pull allowing both ends to retract together.
