Backplane Systems Technology has released InduKeys industrial keyboard range, the 3HE series. These 3U high 19" rack mount aluminium keyboards feature a front side protection rating of IP65 (resistant to dust and liquid) and include a mouse pointing device or num pad.
The key top spacing has been designed to make long text easier to input. The key distance is 18 mm, from the middle of one to the middle of the next key. The Omron switches and the fully embossed keys give this short key travel keyboard family a good tactile feel.
This 3HE series is suited to space critical applications and includes a mouse pointing device. Users can choose from a touch pad, track ball, mouse button or num pad. These keyboards are designed to connect to PS/2, AT or USB ports.
This series is suitable for harsh industrial areas.
