Maple Systems has released its latest generation of graphic touchscreen operator interfaces.

The HMI900 series is available in 22.5 cm black/amber EL together with 25 and 30 cm 256-colour TFT touchscreens. All feature the latest in Microcell technology for graphics clarity and touch accuracy.

The series is a range of HMIs that come with extensive options. These allow users to create applications to suit their exact needs, with possibilities for systems integrators and OEMs needing an extremely capable interface for even the most complex applications.

The series complements the company's existing range of alphanumeric and graphic operator interface terminals. Standard features include all metal housing, high-brightness TFT touchscreens, built-in printer ports, extensive graphics and animation tools, PCMCIA card slot, audio output jack for sound and WAV file support, and extensive security features. The series can be made more versatile with options including memory upgrades, real-time clock, I/O interface and keypad, bar-code reader, and PC flash cards.

Its broad protocol support gives it the capacity to work in virtually any application, and the HMIs are compatible with a wide range of PLCs.
