Dominion Electronics has introduced Matrix Orbital's latest range of serial and USB displays - using vacuum fluorescent displays to accommodate a broad spectrum of applications.
Vacuum fluorescent display modules (VFDs) are ultra bright particularly for extreme climate conditions. Up to 30 frames a second will display characters that are crisp, clean and well defined.
Features include: eight user-defined downloadable characters; up to 30 frames per second; communication over RS232, TTL or USB; luminance configurable time out setting up to 90 minutes; one to seven GPOs; keypad interface 12, 24 or 25 keys; filter accessories including red, blue, green or grey.
An onboard memory allows settings to be saved. Users can create a personal 'look'.
