DIN Rail Mounting Kit

Now, the cabling system which was developed for factory automation is available for computer environment use.

The system uses a steel channel, a DIN Rail, and has slotted holes for mounting. The Rail is normally mounted horizontally. DIN Rail products are then placed on the Rail by snapping them into place, after which wiring is completed.

The DIN Rail is supplied in one metre sections. It is referred to as a 15 x 35 mm DIN Rail and sold as the model 8000. Telebyte has a growing family of DIN Rail mounted products. In addition a method of mounting many of Telebyte's conventional products on a DIN Rail is offered.

To do this Telebyte has developed a DIN Rail mounting adapter kit called the model 8001. It is used to allow any of Telebyte's smaller products to be mounted on the DIN Rail. The 8001 clamps the Telebyte product and provides a plastic foot which snaps onto the Rail.

Whether network devices are being installed in a computer room, factory, production floor or any other area, advantage of the benefits offered by DIN Rail mounting today can be taken.
