Development Kit

Lantronix has released a development kit containing all the hardware components, operating software, and software programming tools necessary to develop embedded networking applications using Lantronix DSTni-LX single chip networking.

The DSTni-LX provides a low profile means of embedding networking technology into devices and systems. The development kit is a tool for streamlining this integration. The kit provides a development platform, including a board with the networking chip pre-installed, real- time operating system software, TCP/IP protocol stack, a C-language system and an integrated in-circuit debugger.

The system offers a wide selection of network connections, including 10/100 Mbps ethernet, dual CAN channels, Profibus DP and two asynchronous serial ports allowing developers to integrate for both conventional office networks as well as more specialised industrial application networks.
