Molex Premise Networks has released its category 6 solution - PowerCat 6.
This comprises category 6 patch panels, wall outlets and patch cords. The patch panels and wall outlets incorporate the DataGate Plus jack, designed with an 'automatic shutter' that not only protects the jack from dust and contaminants, but also, through a spring, ejects an improperly inserted patch cord.
The jack offers enhanced category 6 performance, along with modified termination block design to help cable termination and retention.
