13 GHz real-time oscilloscope

Agilent has claimed to have broken the double-digit bandwidth barrier with the introduction of its first oscilloscope and probing measurement system with a maximum real-time bandwidth of 13 GHz and a maximum sample rate of 40 GSa/s.

The Infiniium DSO80000 series and the InfiniiMax II series probing measurement systems include 10, 12 and 13 GHz versions.

The DSO80000 features a wide variety of software packages to match the oscilloscope to specific measurement needs, including second-generation jitter analysis, serial data analysis with 8b/10b decoding, and a growing list of compliance test packages for standards such as PCI express, ethernet, DVI, HDMI, fibre channel, FBD and SATA. These software packages facilitate rapid problem identification and resolution for designers with specific test requirements.
