Turck Australia brings new products to emerging markets
Tuesday, 25 December, 2007
German-based Hans Turck, manufacturer of products designed for factory and process automation industries, has founded Turck Australia in Melbourne.
Previously, Turck products have been distributed in Australia by Micromax, who will remain Turck's distribution arm for factory automation focused products with the support of the new local subsidiary to help grow the Turck market.
"The company is already positioned well where Turck products are traditionally represented, such as in the automotive industry," says Cameron Dwyer, managing director of Turck Australia, "but the need was evident for a direct guiding hand to help position Turck's emerging products, such as process control and RFID."
"Turck is dedicated to expanding this operation rapidly and changing its market position to that of one of the market leaders in Australia," said Dwyer.
"Turck customers are constantly evolving, and it's important for Turck to adapt to the needs of those customers. A local subsidiary will help us achieve this considerably."
