Technology conference debates environmental challenges
Tuesday, 10 April, 2007
In its fifth year, the Technology Futures Conference (TFC) will debate the proposed solutions to the global challenges that must be overcome to achieve an environmentally secure future.
The conference is a forum for engineers, designers, technicians, project managers and senior managers in the Australian electronics, microelectronics, photonics and high-technology industries.
The one-day event will be held at the Adelaide Hilton Hotel on 25 September 2007. Its revised format comprises two presentation streams: "˜Engineering a sustainable future' and "˜Ecological engineering in action'.
The Engineering a sustainable future stream will review how electronics is supporting many fields of engineering endeavour to create a sustainable future. The Ecological engineering in action stream will demonstrate how innovative electronics design is already having a positive impact on these challenges.
