IT Centre Opening

Rob Durie, executive director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), has welcomed the opening of the Centre of Excellence in Electronic Business at Parramatta, which is a joint venture between the NSW Government and the IT&T industry.
The centre will help address the current shortage of IT employees by providing opportunities for IT students at the Western Sydney Institute and University of Western Sydney to work on real life projects and to gain industry experience before they graduate.
