Australia will become a centre of excellence for Damovo, formerly the direct sales and services arm of Ericsson Corporate Networks. With 180 staff, growing to 500, it will provide expertise in call centre technology and installation to markets around the world.
Damovo chief executive officer, Pearse Flynn, said Australia was one of five key markets for the group, which would launch with projected annual revenues of more than $1.9 billion. He said the company had already made a major acquisition in Australia that would significantly increase its capabilities here. But he declined to give details.
