Data capture group joins AEEMA

AEEMA has announced the integration of Automatic Data Capture Association (ADCA) into AEEMA. ADCA will be a forum of AEEMA's ICT Australia division and will be known as the Automatic Data Capture Australia forum.
The ADCA membership represents an industry grouping that complements existing AEEMA forums such as the Australian IT Security forum and the Asia Pacific Smart Card forum.
According to Angus Robinson, chief executive AEEMA, the incorporation of ADCA into AEEMA will strengthen the size and scope of AEEMA as a key industry association representing ICT infrastructure companies.
Key areas of focus for the ADCA Forum will include government relations, education and training, input to standards and regulatory issues, and business development.
Geoffrey Ramadan, managing director of Unique Micro Design Pty Ltd and chairman of ADCA, will be chairman of the new AEEMA forum. Mr Ramadan has also been appointed to represent the forum on AEEMA's Advisory Council.
