Chinese joint venture signed
Blackburn North-based Rectifier Technologies Pacific has signed an agreement with the Wuhan Putian Telecom Equipment Group that will see state-of-the-art Victorian designed rectifiers being used under licence in China.
The Putian Group was established in 1980 and ranks 10th among companies in China in terms of revenue. It comprises one holding company and 54 subsidiaries and specialises in manufacturing telecom systems and equipment.
This licensed manufacturing agreement is the fifth such contract signed between the two companies and will result in Wuhan Putia using the RT7 rectifier module in China. Additionally, Rectifier Technologies will perform new and redesign work for Wuhan Putian in Victoria.
