AEEMA Excellence Awards

Awards were presented to electrical, electronic and ICT organisations by the Honourable John Howard MP at the 'Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association Excellence Awards 2002' held at Sydney's Australian Technology Park. There were six awards categories including excellence in smart manufacturing, commercialisation of R&D, export, product stewardship, energy efficiency and innovation.
The award for 'Excellence in Commercialisation R&D' was jointly won by Agilent Technologies and Clipsal Integrated Systems. Preformed Line Products won the award for 'Excellence in Exporting'. Moonlighting Australasia won the award for 'Excellence in Energy Efficiency'. Fisher & Paykel Appliances won the award for 'Excellence in Product Stewardship' and KRONE (Australia) Holdings won the award for 'Global Excellence through Smart Manufacturing'.
Agilent Technologies Australia also won the 'wild card' award for 'Excellence in Innovation'. This award recognised innovation across all five categories.
