AEEMA Excellence Awards 2006

The Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (AEEMA) will hold its biennial Excellence Awards and Gala Dinner on Wednesday 18 October 2006, in Melbourne.
The awards are an event for the industry body representing Australia's information and communications technology (ICT), electronics and electrical manufacturing industries. AEEMA members supply infrastructure, products and manufacturing-related services to Australian and world markets.
For the first time non-members will now be eligible to enter the awards for a small administration fee, award categories have also been extended. The revamped award categories mean that many more organisations will have the opportunity to be considered for the awards.
The award categories are:
- Outstanding achievement in Australian electrical manufacturing
- Best new product in electronics/hardware
- Best new product in ICT/software
- Excellence in exporting (including new exporters)
- Cleaner, greener, smarter excellence award
- AusIndustry award for excellence in innovation and commercialisation of R&D
- Excellence in smart manufacturing
- Excellence in commitment to skills and education
- Excellence in technology reporting by media
- The Richard Brett excellence in individual commitment to industry development award
Companies intending to nominate are invited to register their interest by completing and submitting an online form.
