Active Voice acquire by NEC

Active Voice has just announced it is to sell its messaging business to NEC America.
NEC America will acquire Active Voice's business operations in Seattle, Australia and the Netherlands. The new company will operate as an independent subsidiary to sell and support the Active Voice product range. Victor Foia will be the company's president and CEO, he was the vice president and general manager of NEC America's Corporate Networks Group.
