Altronic Distributors has released a highly portable multifunction digital storage oscilloscope manufactured by Uni-Trend.

It combines the functionality of a high-performance autoranging multimeter and digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) at a competitive price.

The single-channel 8 MHz CRO includes a 40 MS/s sampling rate with a screen resolution of 160 x 160. A built-in memory stores and recalls waveforms. In-built optical isolation protects the meter and connected PC. The display simultaneously shows both the measured waveform plus indicates the measured voltage and frequency. The ‘auto’ mode when selected automatically ‘scales’ the measured waveform to fit the screen.

The autoranging multimeter offers a 4000 count 3.75 digit display with large 20 mm digits. It includes the following ranges, AC/DC volts, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and diode test.

Supplied with rechargeable batteries and charger, CRO probe adapter socket, PC software, quality silicon rubber test probes in a sturdy carry case.
