Agilent VEE is an interactive, graphical programming environment that provides a quick path to measurement and analysis across applications including R&D, scientific research, industrial manufacturing and education.

With the software, programming is made simple with high-level task-oriented blocks and powerful with built-in MATLAB analysis and visualisation functions. Designed for easy expansion, flexibility and compatibility with the latest industry standards, the software allows operation with hardware and software from Agilent and other companies.

It provides a 3D look and customisable toolbars; frequently used windows such as Instrument Manager and Function and Object Browser are more readily accessible with docking and auto-hiding capabilities.

The software's automatic colour coding of different object types also makes coding and program reading easier.

The software allows programmatic change of the VISA interface and address across USB, GPIB and TCP/IP interfaces, enabling users to communicate with the same instrument without extra configurations or coding. The software supports the latest tools in MATLAB and Microsoft Office, as well as Windows Vista.

There are two versions of the software available: the VEE Pro and VEE Express.
