Agilent E5061B ENA vector network analyser options

Agilent has introduced two options for its ENA series E5061B 5 Hz to 3 GHz vector network analyser.

The RF NA (network analysis) and ZA (impedance analysis) options increase the analyser’s frequency range, speed, upgradability and versatility.

The NA option offers a direct replacement to the existing E5061A and E5062A RF network analysers. The latest option delivers faster measurement speed (10 times wider intermediate frequency bandwidth).

Operating from 100 kHz to 1.5/3 GHz, the option is available as either a 2-port S-parameter or as a transmission/reflection test set, with a 50 or 75 Ω

port impedance.

The start frequency has been expanded down to 100 kHz.

The ZA software option adds an impedance analysis function to the E5061B-3L5 LF-RF network analyser, offering a migration path for legacy network plus impedance combination analyser users.

Engineers now have access to a one-box network analyser and impedance analyser that is suitable for a broad range of R&D applications within the 5 Hz to 3 GHz frequency range.

The option provides fixture compensation support for accurate impedance measurements and an equivalent circuit analysis function that can be used to characterise the device under test.

It is complemented by new test accessories for impedance measurements, including a 50 Ω resistor set and a terminal adapter kit for 7 mm connector fixtures.
