Anritsu has received the Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Line Strategy Leadership in the combined markets for signal generators, vector network analysers and spectrum analysers. The award recognises that the company "demonstrated the most insight into customer needs and product demands" and met stringent criteria established by Frost & Sullivan's analyst team.
In coming to its decision, Frost & Sullivan analysts tracked all end-user requirements and market dynamics within the test and measurement industry. Subsequently, the analysts compared these customer demands with various manufacturers' product lines.
Additional criteria included the introduction of new products, ability to accommodate different market segments, enhancing new products, and using strategic technology and/or marketing acquisitions or alliances.
The award is the second honour Frost & Sullivan has presented to Anritsu. The ME7808A Broadband VNA earned the Market Engineering Award for Product Innovations and Introductions in 2001.
