ICP DAS iWSN-1110X current-sensing module

The iWSN-1110X, from ICP DAS, is a self-powered current-sensing module for AC, digital input and temperature measurement. Featuring 1-channel CT input and an expansion interface, it can harvest the demand for electricity from the CT-induced current so that there is no need to supply the power line for the power supply. Utilising a sub-1G RF communication interface, the series can approach real wireless deployment.

The product uses 433 MHz radio frequency for communication and supports maximum 400 A CT. The diversified I/O interface, featuring a split-core CT, Rogowski coil, NTC thermistor and dry contact DI, provides users with different choices for various applications. For maintenance and installation, the sensing module uses the DIP switch and rotary switch for configuration.

Other features include a built-in, rechargeable Li-ion battery and a wall-mount mechanism and magnet for installation. Through the flexibility of the expansion interface, the sensing module can be widely used for power savings, big data analysis and predictive maintenance.
