Sealed LCD monitors

VarTech Systems has released an all-weather, fully submersible series of flat LCD screen monitors.

These high resolution, sunlight readable devices provide good clarity, viewing angles, extensive operational temperatures (-40 to +60°C) and IP68 (NEMA 6P) protection.

Engineered for harsh duty such as industrial, marine and military applications, the systems are fully sealed to protect against water, oil, dirt and other contaminants.

Every X-series LCD is passively enhanced with VarTech's intellectual property optical stack, where standard LCDs are modified to make them 'transflective' and generally twice as bright than traditional stock LCDs.

A contrast enhancing AR film is applied to the form of the LCD which reduces reflectance to less than 1%.

The overall construction of the monitor's exterior low-profile casing is milled aluminium, yet rugged and suitable for use in the most challenging environments. A black anodised finish with a bright dip chemical film which UV stabilises the colour helps to eliminate the normal fingerprints that make straight anodised finishes look dirty and produces a mat finish, cutting down on glare.
