Pololu AltIMU-10 inertial measurement unit
Targeted at drones and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), Pololu’s AltIMU-10 inertial measurement unit (IMU) provides a platform on which engineers can build their systems and experiment with different design concepts. With dimensions of just 12.7 x 25.4 mm, the product incorporates numerous high-performance MEMS-based sensing elements.
The module features an LSM6DS33 combined 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer, a LIS3MDL 3-axis magnetometer, plus a digital barometer (which can also serve as an altimeter). The core sensor operation is complemented by dynamic sensitivity level selection for the accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer elements. There is also scale preselection for the barometer. All of the sensor functions can be accessed via the module’s I²C interface.
