Sensor networks are made easy with Libelium’s Waspmote Plug & Sense! In robust IP65 housing, the product offers scalable deployment of wireless sensor networks, minimal maintenance costs and compatibility with cloud platforms.

The device is available with 3G, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, 802.15.4 or Bluetooth low energy protocols and a choice of smart application models. The platform utilises specific external sockets to connect the sensors. There are more than 80 sensors to choose from measuring inputs such as light, heat, touch/pressure, motion, acoustic and gas/chemical. Optional accessories such as solar panels or sensor probe extenders are also available.

The Meshlium router for wireless sensor networks is designed to connect the sensors to the internet through either 3G or ethernet interfaces, sending the information gathered by hundreds of sensor nodes to the cloud.
