Launch of EMC service

The directors of Compliance Engineering Pty Ltd have announced the launch of Compliance Engineering in the Australian EMC compliance market.

Compliance Engineering is located in Knoxfield, Melbourne and opened March 2006.

The facilities include a fully RF anechoic chamber, a semi-anechoic chamber and a shielded enclosure. An extensive inventory of test equipment is also on hand to cater for a broad range of EMC compliance measurements.

The directors, Simon Grilj and Andrew Burden, have more than 25 years combined experience in the field of EMC and took on the task of building the facilities and enclosures all the way from constructing the offices through to assembling the RF shielded enclosures and installing the RF absorbing materials.

The company provides EMC services including:

  • EMC and RF compliance measurements;
  • RF hazard surveys and calculations;
  • EMC test equipment sales;
  • RF shielding services;
  • Consultancy;
  • Report assessments;
  • EMC antenna and transducer calibrations.
