The compact 485-AB bus surge protection module from Mornsun, measuring 19.5 x 12.5 x 9.8 mm, is based on the IEC61000-4-5 design standard. The module uses multilevel protection circuitry, used on a selection of surge protection devices.

Connected in series, the device inhibits high-voltage pulses on the line and protects back-end equipment from lightning and industrial surge damage.

Featuring fast response time, low output residual voltage and good transmission performance, the product uses an industrial interface terminal block and is convenient to use. It is designed for use in applications where RS485 lightning protection is needed and meets IEC/EN61000-4-5 surge level standards.
