XP Power HRC series high-voltage DC/DC converters

Wednesday, 23 March, 2022 | Supplied by: Transfer Multisort Elektronik Sp. z o.o.

XP Power has released the HRC series of regulated DC/DC converters, providing a high output voltage of up to 6 kV (with current output of up to 1.25 mA for selected models). Negative and positive output voltage versions are available.

The converters feature smooth, linear adjustment of the output voltage (in the full range from 0% of the maximum value), as well as short-circuit and overload protection. Additional advantages include high stability (ripple below 0.01%) and a wide operating temperature (from -40 to 70°C). The input voltage for all models is 24 VDC (22 to 30 V is tolerated).

Due to the high integration of components, the converters can use a single external resistor. They have internal reference voltage sources on dedicated outputs, used for making settings and as a reference for voltage and current monitoring.

The devices are used in measuring and analytical equipment, spectrometry, electrophoresis and electron microscopy. They are also used in detectors and capacitor charging systems. Case dimensions are 64.8 x 33.0 x 15.2 mm (not including the leads for through-hole mounting, THT). The converters are compliant with the UL62368 and UL61010 standards.
