Powerbox SM3300 power supplies series

The SM3300 series power supplies are available in four models. The SM18-220 offers 0 to 18 V from 0 to 220 A, the SM66-AR-110 offers autoranging outputs from 0 to 33 V at 0 to 110 A or 0 to 66 V over 0 to 55 A, the SM330-AR-22 offers autoranging outputs from 0 to 165 V at 0 to 22 A or 0 to 330 V over 0 to 11 A while the SM660-AR-11 delivers autoranging outputs of 0 to 330 V over 0 to 11 A or 0 to 660 V at 0 to 5.5 A.

Features include protection against all overload and short-circuit conditions, EMC performance that surpasses CE requirements - low emission and high immunity - and low output ripple and spikes from 1.6 mVRMS/8 mVpk.

With a large user display and menu-driven operation, the series can operate from single- or three-phase supplies (180 to 450 VAC, 48 to 62 Hz).

The supplies feature a standard ethernet interface (LXI, class C), USB input for exchange of settings and waveforms, plug-and-play optional interfaces, integrated sequencer for stand-alone automation or to use as arbitrary waveform generator and digital encoders. Higher secondary isolation allows series operation to 1200 V.

Available options include high-speed programming and lower output capacitance, two-quadrant operation to maintain output voltage regardless of whether output power is positive or negative and various field-installable interfaces to enable software control - PROFIBUS, CANBUS, RS232, IEEE488, isolated analog and master/slave.

Specifications include active power factor correction of 0.99 at 100% load, high efficiency up to 90% at full load, regulation from 5 mV (0 to 100% load step), recovery time 100 µs (50 to 100% load step), programming speed from 7 ms (10 to 90%) as standard with 0.3 ms optional, output voltage and current stability from 4.10-5 to 10.10-5, MTBF of 500,000 h and operating temperature range from -20 to +50°C.
