The Benbro Series 300 DC - DC converter system is a 19" Rack mount 3RU Eurocard based modular DC - DC converter system.

The system has been designed for communications, mining and rail infrastructure and consists of up to six 300W converter modules mounted in a 3RU 19" rack frame to produce up to 1.8kW (multiple 1.8kW assemblies can be connected in parallel). The rack frame is complete with a backplane Printed circuit board fitted with high current input and output bus bars and has the facility to connect a Voltage and current meter module with 3 alarm output functions.

The modular converters are hot swappable and are available with input Voltages of 12VDC(nom), 24VDC(nom), 48VDC(nom) and 110VDC (nom) and output Voltages of 12VDC(nom) 24VDC(nom) and 48VDC(nom). The outputs are floating and therefore can be configured with positive ground or negative ground as required.

The converters are convection cooled and do not contain internal fans.

The equipment is certified to AS/NZ 3548, CISPR 22 class B.
