Electronic battery chargers

Mastervolt has introduced three battery chargers: the IVO Smart 12/10, 24/6 and 12/15-2. Making use of high frequency switchmode technology the models are ultra compact and lightweight while providing power, correct charging and battery maintenance.

The models incorporate the same microprocessors as the larger Smart and Mass Charger ranges and can be programmed to any relevant protocol using the IVO Smart Wizard software, obtainable from the Mastervolt website.

A feature of these chargers is the memory function, preventing the charger starting a new three-stage charge cycle if the supply voltage is interrupted. Consequently battery gassing will not occur.

All models are equipped with programmable DC high/low voltage and AC status alarms, along with an LED status indicator displaying the state of the charge cycle: bulk-absorption-float.

The IVO 12/10 and IVO 24/6 are sealed (IP65) resulting in splashproof units, suitable for automotive or marine use.

The IVO 12/15-2 is fitted with a thermo-controlled fan and has two DC outlets enabling two battery banks to be charged simultaneously with a maximum charge rate of 15 A to each battery.

All battery types can be charged, even a combination of two battery types will charge correctly.
