Cincon ECLB60W series DC/DC converters

Cincon’s ECLB60W series includes DC/DC converters with a wide input voltage range (4:1) and input-output isolation of 1500 VDC. The input voltage ranges from (depending on the model) 9 to 36 V or 18 to 75 V, while the output voltage is between 5, 12 or 15 V and -12 and -15 V (at the second output, depending on the type).

The converters have a relatively low profile (~10 mm) and are designed for through-hole mounting (THT). Metal casing helps to dissipate heat — the products can operate at temperatures up to 105°C and up to 45 or 60°C without derating (using a heat sink). These features make the converters suitable for power supply systems in both industrial and consumer equipment (IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 compliant).

The products are equipped with a number of protections, including overload protection, undervoltage-lockout (UVLO) protection, short-circuit protection, overtemperature protection and overvoltage protection. In addition, the converters do not have tantalum capacitors; therefore, they are characterised by an extended service life. Output voltage is adjustable within ±10% (TRIM pin-out, only available on single-output models) and there is the possibility to remotely switch the module on and off (low state on pin 6).
