Samtec has added Tiger Beam IDC cable (TLSD series) to its rugged IDC cable range.
The assembly has an optional strain relief system for rugged high reliability applications. It also features the company’s one-point, post and beam contacts resulting in an alternative to the company’s 2 mm Tiger Eye IDC cable (TCSD series) that uses a four-finger contact system.
The low-profile cable is a 2 mm pitch socket system with a choice of up to 25 pins per row. It mates with a variety of standard company 2 mm headers and stackers including shrouded, low-profile and modified surface mount and through-hole options.
The 28 AWG flat cable IDC system is available single or double ended and in a choice of lengths.
Standard options include conductor breakouts, daisy chains, reverse wiring, reverse notches, notch polarisation, as well as reversed, middle reverse or outside reverse options.
