Alta Data Technologies NLINE-U1553 USB in-line adapter
Alta Data Technologies has released its MIL-STD-1553 USB 3 SuperSpeed adapter: the NLINE-U1553. The product embeds the AltaCore MIL-STD-1553 protocol engine directly into the 1553 USB cable assembly. It thus gives the user access to all the 1553 BC, RT and BM controls of board-based products via USB connection.
The adapter opens up all kinds of flexible 1553 integration ideas. Combined with the standard AltaAPI software development kit (SDK) and advanced o-scope capabilities to troubleshoot 1553 signals, it offers 1553 functionality and ease of deployment for aerospace platforms.
The product has been manufactured and tested for the utmost rugged, in-line 1553 capability, the company says. With injection moulding capability, a wide variety of cable requirements for programs can be produced.
