NECA links with BICSI
The National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with BICSI South Pacific Region at the recent BICSI South Pacific 2008 conference in Melbourne.
The memorandum provides the basis for a cooperative approach between NECA and BICSI to complement each other and their respective members in the mutual sharing of knowledge, education and expertise in the cabling and telecommunications sector.
Meanwhile, NECA has formed a new Communications Sector Advisory Group (CSAG) and has appointed Bill Petreski as consultant to lead the group.
James Tinslay, CEO of NECA, said he was pleased with the direction NECA is taking with the formation of the group and Petreski's appointment.
The CSAG will enable NECA to have a stronger voice on issues in the cabling and telecommunications sector.
He said BICSI South Pacific would be invited to participate in the group.
